So here's a new idea. I'm not going to "take on" the project of single-handedly confronting an online mob. It's a shame people are hopped up on self-aggrandizement... But it doesn't help to give them publicity. (Provoking people -- to generate outraged reactions -- is just one more way for them to get attention, and it rewards them with a reaction too.)

You deal with it later. Mouthing off online is something you don't even have to see. Successfully ignoring it is a blessing.
