I'm depressed. Not sure why.

Maybe it's because that Craig's List woman turned out to be a form letter meant to con me into signing up for an online dating site. Is it the disrespect of having my emotions played on - or just disappointment.

Powerlessness. And disappointment.

I guess the answer is just to go with that. You are disappointed. Don't pretend that you didn't want it to be real -- because you did.
